VQU.COM Sold for $6551 on Bido, just $51 above my estimation as posted in the sale comments 🙂

The letter quality isn’t good and only 123K results in google, but it has a decent acronym for “very quick update”, a phrase that could be branded into a hosting, or web services.

This is the forth bido sale of LLL.com domain, after:

2008-07-11 14:00:00 utq.com 20 6,001.00

2008-07-02 14:07:42 qvk.com 19 6,730.00

2008-06-20 14:03:46 ryy.com 10 7,124.00

So far the highest two bido sales were:

2008-07-22 14:01:03 dickinson.com 26 12,000.00

2008-07-16 14:23:06 debtnews.com 60 10,628.00

and the lowest two:

  1. Bido has a lot of work to do. For starters, they need to open the auctions for 24 hours. If you’re putting one domain a day up, why not keep it open all day? It will please the sellers and the buyers that can’t make it between 1PM and 2PM EDT.

How high do they really expect a name to sell for in just an hour?

  2. Average sale price of $2037 is not bad because most names so far were of so-so quality. I think as Bido experiments more and more, its only going to get better from here…….

  3. I think that Bido.com is doing great – with time they will do better once they build their reputation.

Nice buy VQU.COM Sold for $6551

Good Luck to Sahar and his team and bido – Great work
