NNNNN.com Sales Picking Up

Posted in News, NNNNN.com on February 17th, 2008 by Michael – 3 Comments

Few days after the buyout NNNNN.com sales are heating up.

Update: I’ve received reports of some random NNNNN.com’s sold in bulk privately for $8.5-10 each. Get those bargains while you still can ;)

Several sales have been reported so far on the forums.

I’ve sold 5 random NNNNN.com’s for $12.5 each (not selling that cheap anymore):

87816.com
87826.com
37535.com
37675.com
38417.com

Another sale reported here:

These 5 sold for $15 each:
72252.com
82292.com
71131.com
75525.com
72292.com

Another sale here

37467.com $15 Spells Eshop.com

More sales from SnapNames

01140.com $22
00108.com $29
05211.com $22

$10-15 or about twice the reg fee is the minimum anyone would sell NNNNN.com’s. But for now, while they are still fresh you can choose the better ones.

Now is a very good time to buy some good NNNNN.com’s for cheap before the prices rise and stabilize.

A few notable previous sales:

46000.com $299 2007-12-25 SEDO.com
34000.com $1,050 2007-11-21 SEDO.com
84444.com $500 2007-11-06 AfterNic.com

Domains ending with a few zeros and with many repeating digits are obviously more memorable and thus more valuable.

List of 1477 Better Quality NNNNN.com

Posted in Lists, NNNNN.com on February 14th, 2008 by Michael – 2 Comments

NNNNN.com’s are running out by 2K registrations per day and around 6K are remaining right now.

Here is a list of better quality NNNNN.com’s that don’t have . All 5N’s with ’0′ at the end are already registered and ’0′ in other places, other than the last digit, is considered not good.

Download the list here

Also all NNNNN’s starting with 1,2 and 9 have been wiped out.
Please note that ’4′ is considered a bad digit as it supposedly brings bad luck in Chinese culture, but adding other digits, like 5,6,7 depending on the number might neutralize that effect. From that point it’s getting too complicated to be covered here, but you’re welcome to read up on numerology, thanks for the link to replic8te.

For me an easy way to get higher quality NNNNN’s is by simply checking google results for the number. Here are number of google results for the first 100 NNNNN’s from the list, sorted:

41758 154,000
41691 156,000

41679 236,000
41892 364,000
41738 365,000
41783 365,000

NNNNN.com Countdown Approaching 10k

Posted in Buyouts, NNNNN.com on February 12th, 2008 by Michael – 3 Comments

countdown
NNNNN.com Countdown Approaching 10k.

Around 11k NNNNN.com’s are currently remaining unregistered. Latest count shows 10, 736 10,681 8,200! They are likely to run out within a week if this trend continues.

According to NNNNN Domains Marchex owns around 60K NNNNN.com, which are valid US zip codes, so that only leaves the other 40K available on the market and thus makes NNNNN even more rare and more valuable.

Everyone obviously ponders on the prices NNNNN.com’s will fetch right after the buyout. Nothing is certain except death and taxes, but from previous buyouts we can expect the price to climb slowly and I predict it will reach $20 within 2 months after the buyout.

With LLLL.com’s we’ve seen the min prices climbing very fast to around $60 currently within 4 months and premium LLLL.net’s were bought out only a week ago, but are already selling at twice the reg fee. Usually the prices go up within weeks after a buyout occurs.

There are two main questions people ask related to numeric domains and NNNNN.com’s:

Premium NNNNN.com’s – 1471 domains left

Posted in Buyouts, Lists, NNNNN.com on February 9th, 2008 by Michael – 4 Comments

In total there are about 17.5K NNNNN.com domains left out of 100K. Couple thousands of them were registered in last several days by a few investors.

Numeric domains represent one of the safest and most profitable investments in the market currently due to their limited quantity, compared to letter domains and many possible meanings in different cultures and countries: phone numbers, zip codes, lucky numbers, dialing codes, license plates etc.

Not all digits are equal, some digits are considered better than other, according to 3character.com price guide:

1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9 are considered premium numbers. Other lesser high quality numbers include: 4 and 6. Lower quality numbers include the number 0. 3

Recent scan of all premium NNNNN.com’s, consisting only digits: 1,2,3,5,7,9 shows
that 1471 domains are available out of 7,776.

The whole list is here
