Many of these were put on sale and some were sold, hopefully no payments were sent yet though. In case you bought or planning to buy one of these, make sure you check it very carefully first.

Whois contacts were changed couple days ago on some of the domains, which support the fraud evidence. DNF mods and the community are always very professional and efficient in these cases, so lets just wait and see how it turns out.

Few quick tips to avoid getting your domains stolen:

1. Install the latest antivirus and antispyware software to protect from keyloggers and trojans
2. Don’t use free email account in whois contacts, set up email addresses on your own domains.
3. Use strong passwords, consisting of random letters and numbers. If your password is 123456, or qwerty, or even qwe123 don’t come back complaining later..
4. Be careful.. if your domains got stolen report is as soon as possible. So far in all the cases when stolen names were reported properly, they were recovered and returned.

P.S.: gmeil.com should get some awesome type in traffic ..

Also DO NOT use the same password for all of your accounts.. makes sense doesn’t it ;) Try to come up with levels or a scheme to make passwords unique, but easy to remember.. then again it’s the easy to remember part that gives passwords away (most of the time)..
